Does anyone else take two aps?

I take rexulti and saphris, along with a bunch of other crap, but why two aps?

I take two APs too. I am glad I am on two because, for me, either on their own is not enough.

I am on Invega and Abilify and i don’t know why :smile:

I take two APs, like @Jimbob, 1 just doesn’t do it for me either ive come to find out. 1 is good for some symptoms, and the 2nd is good for other symptoms. Together they seem to be doing the trick.

Also on lithium for mania, trintellex as my AP that helps with ocd, and a benzo for anxiety. I also smoke herb “as needed”, which my pdoc allows.

I take Geodon and Seroquel. They’ve kept me symptom free for years. I don’t really feel the Seroquel, but I don’t know what would happen if I got off it.

I’m on Abilify injections and oral Haldol, seems to be a good combination for me.

Not anymore but first time in hospital I took Thorazine with zyprexa. And occasional haldol injection. I tried latuda and abilify once but it was a bad combo for me.

I take Zyprexa 7.5 mg and Haldol 2.5 mg, it works great for me

the first time I had two aps was latuda with invega and I had a bad reaction from the invega. I was take off of it and then added Haldol pills. at first things worked but symptoms eventually became unmanageable and Haldol injection was added and Haldol pills taken away. I feel pretty good.

I take two. Geodon and Latuda. Geodon controls the psychosis fine but I find that Latuda really helps with the negatives and helps to compensate for Geodon’s short half life.

They compliment one another well.

Reggie sounds like you and I are in the same boat, sza, ocd, anxiety. Do you also get sick as heck taking all those meds? Last count I was on 13 plus herb. That’s why I always want to go off my meds, it’s just mind boggling to take that many. (some are for regular health issues too, high blood pressure, cholesterol, allergies)

3 mg Rexulti. 10 mg Zyprexa.

I only take zyprexa b\c it’s the only thing that let’s me sleep
Otherwise it isn’t helpful.

I’m on 200mg amisulpride and 5mg of olanzapine. They work well together. Amisulpride helps with voices and agitation and olanzapine helps with deadness and depression.
