Hey I have a question does anybody use vitamin D supplements for mood and concentration and is it useful
I was prescribed it by my dr as my blood lvls are low.
I take 2000UI prescription daily.
I didn’t see any difference with taking it. I guess its good for my bones
I was also prescribed it. But my prescription ran out. Thanks for reminding me…I was considering getting some non prescription vit D and see if it helps.

I took 400 IU/day for a year during the pandemic along with Vitamin C and Zinc because I read anecdotal evidence it would help if you got infected. I didn’t notice any effect from taking those with respect to my mood, concentration or anything else.
I take 5000units daily (up from 1000) at my PCP recommend, but does seem to give me a “boost”, as does looking at sunshine as much as possible
