Been a while since I’ve been in a psych ward, but I bet they don’t have Netflix, and if they do, it’s the same group of neurotic, poodle-owning women, that controlled the remote the last time I was there. Nothing of interest to a geek allowed on the screen, only talk shows and other female content. If you aren’t crazy when you arrive you are when you leave!

I don’t want to go to the hospital, but that’s only because I don’t need to.

I have nothing against it. Sure, it’s a bit boring. But last time, I brought my laptop and some books, as well as colours and colouring books, so I was able to pass the time.

I like the hospital, free food and it’s like a holiday for me, (I don’t get out much) I always meet good people there

The last time I was in a psych ward, laptops ran on MS DOS and Windows 3.11 for Workgroups!

That’s anhedonia, it’s a common negative symptom.
Unless you’re a danger to yourself or others, or extremely symptomatic, or you’re delusional to a point where you can no longer be trusted to make desicions for yourself, they most likely won’t take you.

I hope you find some purpose for your life, even a little purpose, maybe just a hobby, @Chess24 is a good example, he came here and he was totally out of control as I read it, but now he seems to be doing well with his studies and other involvements. I suppose the forum helped him.

i was 2 years ago i go there becouse i had no motivation , my pdoc can priscribe me direction to hospital anytime i want
