I want to be a famous musician one day. I want to play the drums for a famous band one day. It is just a dream. There is nothing wrong with dreaming right? Do you want to be a famous musician one day?
I’ve daydreamed about making a hit song.
I was so surprised how simple it is to make a tune.
Get a midi keyboard and tinkle away. Connect it to a laptop and get a DAW and voila,
“Welcome to the the O2 arena and give a big hand to the new pop sensation Everhopeful!”
i need to get back into music, i practiced so much a few years ago and made some small tracks but i miss it so much, it kinda phased out and i gave up when i realized i will prob never be a master of my instrument, but hopefully i can get back to it because that is far fetched even for many successful musicians. i enjoyed playing and creating but stressed myself out pushing myself too hard to try to learn decades in weeks
I used to as a teenager but now I just enjoy being in a local band and drama free lol
What instrument do you play?
I think of being famous sometimes but feel the odds are stacked against me lol.
piano mainly but i also play bass and guitar
I want success without the fame, but I guess both go hand in hand.
People treat you differently when they see you as a successful Producer/DJ/Musician
No. Nothing wrong with dreaming though.
Hope your dreams come true @Jake
I wouldn’t mind being rich and famous. I’d say that’s pretty normal. I also hate most celebrities though. So I feel a little hypocritical when I think about it
Sorry about the title it supposed to say do you want to be a famous musician?
I want win lotto like @san_pedro . Need da monies not the fame
I have no hope of ever becoming a famous pianist in this life at least. Maybe in eternity. That’s what I am hoping.
There’s a slight chance that I could become a famous composer posthumously though.
I’d like to do song writing but I do not have a good singing voice
Ok on guitar but that’s a work in progress right now
I make music videos sometimes with me performing. I send them to family and friends. They enjoy it. But I wouldn’t like making a song and have to sing it 100 times over on stage.
I want people to like my music but to be anonymous lol
I think fame would work my mental illness…
I have been classically trained as a musician. I went to the royal northern junior school as a teen. Then I went to do my bachelors and was also offered a place at the royal academy.
I did want to play for an orchestra in those days. But I had a breakdown.
Classical music is just….awful. It really is. It’s such a stuck up snobby elitist scene. I’m glad I’m out of it.
You ever thought about branching off into jazz or rock and writing your own compositions?
