100 mg of Seroquel knocked me out at night which felt good. But getting up the next morning was difficult. It was so difficult I had my doctor take me off it because I was not getting anything accomplished on my days off.
Seroquel is nice for insomnia. No weight gain. NO sex side effects. Cut into pieces at bedtime for good nightâs sleep. Does not make the voices stop for me at 400 mg, but this is dose when voices might quit.
Hated zyprexa. It does huge appetite and I put on a TON in 8 weeks. Had just lost all the weight.
I need to lose a TON of weight again. Your workout talk got me motivated to go walking. Like living in the burbs, I can walk when the loud mouths are asleepâŚ
Speak for yourself. (Please.) All Da channel blockers have the potential to get in oneâs way sexually.
Apparently the Drâs think Seroquel at a 300mg dose works well for my dad. Itâs whatever depression med he takes in the morning that doesnât work they say.
The seroquel has worked for my dad for 38 years at 50mgsâŚuntil now that it was upped.
A pill spliter is a great $4 investment for a serious schizophrenic!

You know what man⌠I think the answer is actually just a cigarette.
Amen. 12 13 14 15
lmfao
you might be right
when I was smoking I just went outside and stared at the floor smoking, everything was fine, cigs held my â â â â together
now I progressively get worse until I become exhausted/doped up and then fall asleep
Lol yep. I know right? So much for textbooks ay?
the textbooks say that 80-90% of us smoke and that nicotine improves our cognitive performance, reduces positive symptoms, and reduces sedation. I think the answer could be in the developing drugs which are being made to mimic these beneficial properties of nicotine in patients with schizophrenia. They need to make more meds, quicklyâŚtar and carcinogens are not the answer, however the act of smoking and positive consequences of the act of smoking are supported to help.
The studies that say nicotine is good for schizophrenics are suspect. I looked them up online, and it looked to me like all the studies were funded by tobacco companies.
