Hello trudging buddies. To update, I had a serious bout of insomnia after switching from zyprexa to geodon. Went back to the behavioral center (inpatient) to be reacquainted with zyprexa. Things are back to normal. Sleep lots, eat lots, semi-zombie mode. And back at my job-yay!
During the try with geodon, I didn’t sleep. I lost weight, I was rarely hungry. I went to the gym more. Zombie mode significantly reduced, I had some swagger (attitude) about me.
I’m thinking of trying seroquel. Am I wasting my time? Should I just accept that meds are imperfect? Should I keep searching for the right med cocktail? Bear in mind I was on zyprexa for 15 years continuous. Confused but curious.
