I think whether or not you lock your homes doors is a reflection both of your trust level and the kind of neighborhood you live in.
We do not lock our doors during the day but do at night before we go to sleep. We live in a relatively safe neighborhood.

I always lock my doors. 
Can’t think of a time when I didn’t lock my doors, even living in affluent suburbia.

Im paranoid of home invasions so my doors are always locked.
Always at night, sometimes during the day.
I don’t lock during the day, only at night. But thers always at least 2 persons in the house during the day.
I am going to request that this thread be closed by a moderator. If anyone here is questioning why this thread is going down, let it be known that I think this is an irresponsible thing to post on this forum.
This is the kind of personal information that I do not want anyone here to know about. If someone does keep their place of residence unlocked that is not something that they should be sharing publicly.
Because some of us are in compromised states of thinking this is irresponsible to post.

If someone on here got robbed because of something like this, I would be upset, so I’m just going to request it be taken down, then worry that a compromised person divulges something that could get them into trouble.

I always lock my doors. My car has been ransacked and my home broken into twice. Once while we were home, and another time through our back door. We’ve added more security but my neighborhood kinda sucks.
I never locked during the day, but my wife does. I do lock at night. Our apartment complex was worse last year, but rising rent prices have forced out most of the problem tenants.

I’m not worried. My name was all over the internet with my location for a decade. Never had an issue.
Also, i have a large husband, a guard dog, and melee weapons for decor, but are functional.
