Do you lock your doors?

I just think that this thread should read “Make yourself a target, mess around and find out.”

If it triggers you, avoid it.

I will, I think I made a pretty reasonable argument, also I know of websites with better data protections that have been hacked.

Safety in obscurity is not something to trust with the internet.

And what are they going to get here? All the IP addresses lead to general location and ISP. I know, I check them.

No one enters personal info
The mods can’t even retrieve email addresses.

Even if I’m wrong in this particular instance, I still think that my thinking is correct for personal protection. I’m sorry to be a bother I just think its in everyone’s best interest if they don’t honestly answer this thread.

Again, if it bothers you, move on. Don’t answer.

The only serious threat I’ve ever seen here was the freaky dipsh!t of a former mod who trolled both here and in the old live chat forum for SZ boyflesh. A thoroughly repugnant creature who preyed on those with cognitive issues. Glad she was finally chased out.

You won’t remember this unless you’re a much older member.

I had someone who seemed interested in breaking the no sex rule in the psych ward, I’m glad I stuck to the rules, I was totally compromised in my thinking and it would’ve been a terrible way to lose my virginity.

I’m just glad I’m a wimp when it comes to romance, I definitely don’t know what would’ve happened if I got it into my head that it was part of my delusion.

I literally dropped trow thinking that I was going to the after life and I needed to be less pent up and literally down to XXXX it was a messed up time. At the doors to the building.

Thank god they got me doped up on the good stuff and I was out of it long enough for the psych medicine to work.

It really opens you’re eyes up to how vulnerable people can be in these compromised states of mind.

Sorry to hear a mod was taking advantage of that kind of stuff.

I’m amazed that any of the guys in there can “function” the way they med bomb you.

I couldn’t use a house key properly until I was around 24. Prior to that, I always lived in unlocked places, or just broke in as a matter of course when i lived with roommates who locked the doors. That stopped when I got the cops called on me for climbing in through the window of my 2nd story apartment. I didn’t get in any trouble, but i learned my lesson. Now, we lock the doors because we have kids.

Growing up our house didn’t even have a doorknob on the front door. Just a plastic bag stuffed in the hole. Still like that at my parents house. Been like that for almost 40 years.

I moved out when I was 16 and lived in my car until I moved in with my partner. On 2 occasions I’ve had men I don’t know break in and rape me. Once in my car and once when I was tent camping because the car was too hot.

I lock all windows and doors. I leave bells on all the windowsills and have alarms that chime when doors or windows open.

We had canoing rallies and it was a giant tent city. We were all strangers but I haven’t heard of anything stolen. I lock my door cause of the occasional mentally ill roaming the city and I like my peace.

Most people can’t even drive down our road to get to mine and my dad’s houses. I don’t even lock my door at night when I’m trying to sleep

I keep my apartment door locked. I frequently check to see if it’s locked. It always is, but checking makes me feel better. :expressionless:
