Do you like sushi? šŸ£

I have had it but can’t say I’m overly impressed by it.

Sushi is good. The sushi that I usually eat is when my mom makes it. She says it is cheaper that way. From what I heard about how much people pay for it I’m inclined to believe her.

Yes I love poke.its my favorite. Poke is a raw tuna dish. Very good, I had it in Florida and Hawaii a lot when I visited. However since I live too far north I make salmon poke  the recipe is easy!

Hey, I like sushi but not sashimi. When I was working in rural Alaska (western villages) I got to try ā€œstink headsā€ and raw seal meat. The ā€œstink headsā€ are raw salmon heads buried near the river to decompose for a few months and have the consistency of cottage cheese. It was really gross tasting and smelled worse. Seal meat wasn’t too bad but you have to dip it in seal oil and that was kind of gross. I guess it’s good if that’s what you grow up eating.

I love sushi and recently had sardine sushi I got from a supermarket and it was good. My favorite sushi is mackerel.

I also eat squid, octopus raw in salads, etc.

I like sashimi (without the rice) and I ate the raw salmon just like that.

I liked the raw, cold smoked salmon for breakfast we used to eat in Sweden.
The local supermarket has half priced sushi on Wednesdays after 3PM.
ā€œCrunchy rollā€ is one name I can remember liking, there are about 4 or 5 that I like, they come with that hot ? Slimy stuff that I like and of course, wasabi sauce in that funky green color.
It’s about $4.99 for 10 pcs.

My grandfather would roll over in his grave if he knew I was eating raw fish. He was a commercial fisherman off the coast of Oregon, and he NEVER let any of us kids eat raw fish- he’d gross us out with his stories of what he saw inside the fishes…bleah.

It’s ok. Like if it’s an appetizer at a party I may have some. But I don’t like it enough to go to a sushi bar or buy it for myself.

Love sushi, they seem to make it different in Portugal than in NYC and different again in Japan. Only thing is I need to eat a lot to get full and then I’m hungry again
