The dried meat here is good with mayonnaise and pickles in a sandwich or just on it’s own with whiskey :smiley: it is a bit expensive and rare to find good quality.

I’ve never had Sushi but I have had Sashimi.
Honestly I’m afraid to eat raw fish.

ohhh sushi! I love sushi! It costs less than what you wrote, but still it’s more than a large serving of Teriyaki chicken.
Teriyaki chicken with rice is usually around 7 bucks in my part of Cali, but sushi starts at like 9 dollars and goes all the way up to 25 for fancy fancy rolls.

Above: caterpillar roll that would go for between 12 and 15 dollars. It seems like a lot, but raw fish and rice gets me full pretty fast, somehow!

I love nigiri, that plain old fatty tuna on rice! Those are like 5 dollars for 2 little bites, but man if you get them from a good restaurant, they’re like precious chewy morsels, so worth it! Sushi is like art!

I eat california rolls at the chinese restaurant and they are rolled in sea weed and I really like that with wasabi and soy sauce…yummm

I love sushi! My favorite is salmon-avocado roll. Around here it’s about $6 per roll at a decent restaurant, and more for the fancier rolls. It is a bit expensive.
