Not really. We try to pay everything in cash, so we’re good. Come next fall on our vacation to Florida, we may use our credit.

I literally smoked myself into thousands in debt. Dont even want to say the number. Ill have it all paid off in 2 and a half more years, but the monthly payments are ridiculous (I’m ridiculous).

I am in a similar situation. One thing that you can do is open a credit card and pay your bill every month , pay off the card, and use it to build credit while you are paying it off.

The only debt I have is a mortgage.
There is good debt and bad debt. My mortgage is good debt because I borrowed money at 2.75%, and my house is appreciating at 7%

Had to buy a new car recently so that blew away my savings but at least I don’t have any car payments. Trying to get down $3k in credit card debt which I just refinanced at a much lower interest rate. Life will get better if we are able to get cheaper housing. I can’t maintain a house but we will hopefully make it into a senior housing program which will take into account our egregious medical costs.

I put all my savings into the home loan and am working ten hours overtime every week and putting that extra in. I also cancelled all my unneccesary policies downgraded the internet and cut down on cigarettes
