Do you have debt?

I just started a new job, so I will use the earnings to pay off the credit and my family back over the next few months.
As for the medical debt I am trying to get financial aid.

I always used to carry a balance of about $500 of credit card debt every month that I would pay off in full each month. And I never had a written, planned budget either. And I also never used to balance my checkbooks. (Because I rarely to never wrote checks.).

But, ever since I read the book “Financial Peace Revisited”, by Dave Ramsey, and did the workbook, “Financial Peace Planner”, also by Dave Ramsey, I have turned over a new leaf.

For example, I don’t use a credit card anymore, I use my debit card instead. I now have a detailed, written budget that I use and update regularly. I now balance my checkbook on a regular basis. And I’m now saving much more than I was before. And I have long term goals.

I had few financial problems other than some bookkeeping issues. But, where Ramsey comes in handy is when a person is deeply in debt but doesn’t want to declare bankruptcy. He can really help you to dig your way out and come out on top, if you follow his program, which is rather simple.

I highly recommend Dave Ramsey’s books to anyone looking to get their financial house in order.

I walked away from my debt when the sza hit. I needed the money. I’m sure my credit score will suffer for about 10 years before it recovers, but I don’t mind… I don’t really use credit anymore, just my debit card.

I have some old medical bills that show up in the mail but nobody presses me for them and I can’t afford to pay.

Eventually, but I owe so much and have such low income, that it seems impossible right now

The last time I checked I owed $11,700. I can only make minimum payments on the credit cards. But in 18 months I will pay off a personal loan, so the $230 payment on that can be applied to my credit card debt. I’ve had a bad time financially. A crown for my tooth $1,100, latest car repair bill was $1,000, oral surgery $800, a new bed $500. I may have to file bankruptcy if my rent or auto insurance go up.

I graduated. That’s a touchy subject. Sorry I don’t want to get into it

Are you on disability? If so you might be able to get them discharged.

I have over a half a million dollars in debt but that includes two mortgages.

I have over $75,000 in debt in the form of loans and credit cards but I keep up with the payments. That includes one car loan but I might go and look at a new SUV tomorrow.

I have no debt. I live by the practice of always paying cash.

It might be worth it to try getting that discharged.

I have no debt other than my credit cards that I pay the balance off every month for what I charged the month before. Would be hard to do that if I didnt live with family though.
