Do you had a favourite band or certain music during psychosis?

I know it will be a bit strange,

And the question is quite strange in itself indeed…

But whole time during psychosis I was listening to Darci. He is not popular worldwide, and don’t mind the lyrics, but…

The melodies in all his songs were so so relaxing for me. Somehow at certain moments it helped me to be less paranoid
So, what about you?
Do you had certain music which helped you during psychosis?

I downloaded some “music” if you can call it that that really helped during the whole time a diagnosis was being looked for. I still listen to it today but you can’t find it anywhere online anymore that I’m aware of. It was called PSYCHIC PROTECTION The Aura Shield Meditation Music with Tibetan Singing Bowls.

I just know to avoid melodic melancholic music at it has been a problem in the past causing mental instability.

Not during psychosis, but during suicidal depression yes: Journey’s Greatest Hits, and Alice in Chain’s Dirt. Both albums could really throw me into some deep suicidal funk at one time in my life.

Royal Blood Typhoons album. It’s mostly about psychosis and it helped me accept it. Also Imagine Dragons Believer

My go to song when unwell was unstable by krizz kaliko. Ironically heard it while in the hospital. Someone recommended it. I still listen to it. Actually am right now.

I usually listen to old school heavy metal and thrash metal it is so soothing and peaceful to listen to it. Almost like listening to symphony.
