Do you even lift?

I dont know who looks worse.

The men or the woman.

Both look terrible

In strongman every contestant is tested for steroids.

When you’re 6’9" and weigh 450, you don’t need steroids. You also don’t need a jack if your car gets a flat tire.

All these people look ridiculous and gross. Except for the strongman guy, his muscles actually look proportional and natural.

I think it looks gross and unnatural when people do things to themselves like get really buff.

I agree with @anon39015889.

I can see a person of either sex who gets a little definition from lifting weights and I can appreciate they are fit looking. But when I see these bodybuilders and Mr. or Mrs. Universe’s or Mr. World’s with a zillion muscles popping out and every muscle is defined, to me, they look ugly and like freaks.

I lifted weights for years starting in 7th grade when my dad bought me a barbell set for Christmas (one of my favorite gifts ever) and I got strong and I got bigger arms, a bigger chest, wide shoulders and a smaller waist but I would never want to look like professional body builders. Their bodies look so un-natural.

I have been moving stuff for years now, heavy lifting quite often, but my body type does not bulk up

I just signed up for crossfit so I’m going to learn how to lift soon.

If you are into body building, you’re going to be disappointed. Thats very likely steroids.

In fact I think steroids are so prevalent that you won’t find any serious body builder who doesn’t take them.

Also they affect the muscle in the heart. Arnold took steroids and admitted it, its just what you do if you live in that world.

You know that race the guy who got caught doping was? The european race they always show with the bicycles? So many of those guys got caught eventually.

Its kinda depressing to think that they have to resort to that, and that if you want to make it as an athlete you gotta dope to be on course with all the other cheaters to have a shot at something only a tiny minority do for any real amount of money.

I’ve been doing a lot of free weights lately but do more reps vs more weight! I think that is a bit more practical for me. I am getting fitter and more defined but it’s long ways to go. I just want the strength and fitness from it. I don’t want bulk!

So yes I’m lifting…but nowhere those peeps!
