Do people that don't have schizophrenia shower everyday

I don’t really remember but I think I use to shower everyday before schizophrenia. I’m want to know if normal people shower everyday so I can also shower everyday or if showering everyday is not a thing people do

I try to shower every day but sometimes my anxiety prevents me, scared I’m gonna die in the shower… but I don’t wash my hair Everytime I shower, just every other time

Well showers can be relaxing, and if you feel you need one take one, ain’t no harm in it even if you miss a day

I didn’t develop Schiz until my late forties. Prior to that I showered every day without fail.

I send to shower everyday. Even when I was drinking or doing drugs. Every once in a while I skipped a day, but the was rare.
When I was off meds I also showered regularly.
But over the last so many years I only shower every few days.

Yeah when I wasn’t on medications i would shower more often also. I’m just gonna shower everyday and see how that goes

I showered twice today. Once in the AM and a second time this evening after working out.

Yes, normal people shower everyday. I still shower everyday because it is one of the few things I still enjoy.

I had positive symptoms in my young years. 23 to 56. In my later years, age 36 to 62 (currently), I got more negative symptoms. Between ages 45 to 56, I had a more of a mix of the two.

Yep, think of your poor sheet thats got to suffer. Clean sheets are a sacred place. Keep them clean.

That feeling of being clean on your sheet is also amazing. Getting under the blankets, getting cozy and helping your sleep pattern

Showering is the first part to getting some order. Its an absolute must for sz. Try go for once every night.

I took a shower tonight and I feel good. Showering at night is nice but I’m talking about morning showers. Do none schizophrenic shower almost every morning, I’m just trying to remember how things use to be . By the way, I became schizophrenic in 2018 hbu

I think most people shower daily. That’s what I was brought up to do.

More recently, I have let this slip quite badly, but I have no one or anything to be clean for

Same here, I don’t go to school or work but I think showering is still important to in order to feel like a normal person. I’m asking this question because I was letting couple days go by with out showering

When I was working I did shower more.

Think when your routine breaks down it’s hard to get back sometimes

People in general shower as per the locations they are in.
If the condition is right it may be two days or three days once.
If the condition like weather is too hot and one keeps sweating may be daily.

Yeah I remember showering was a chore to do everyday. Then its just didn’t notice. Now I’m working on basic self care including shower. Not everyday.
