Do you run for excersize?
I shall do it this weekend
I used to jog frequently when I lived in Australia. But now I replaced it with aerobics at home due to the air pollution in China. I like jogging very much… Runing in the field or tree-lined streets is very rewarding.
Yea it is hey.
I’m going to start running on the beach again it’s such good excersize
I jogged frequently before psychosis. It was one of my passions in life. Now the struggle is too much I’ve converted to walking distances as exercise. If you can do it, good on you, especially with nice scenery like a beach that would be beautiful
Yea I agree it’s such a good form of excersize
Nah man I’m like fat. Like most schizophrenics. Walking it the most I would do.
The only thing that I run these days is my mouth.
I used to run. When I lived in Phoenix, AZ. The early morning hours and the late evening hours there are perfect for running. I live in a very wicked weather area now though. Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Just not conducive for outdoor exercise. So, now I just do yoga indoors.
I wish I could still run. I just can’t do it anymore on the meds.
Running is too difficult, now that I am older and as heavy as I am. I can still walk though. For a while i walked a mile and a half each day. I need to go back to that, maybe do it once in the morning and then again in the evening.
I jog 5 minutes, walk for 1. till I get 30 minutes of jogging
I jog/run on a treadmill daily but as of the past month I haven’t since the temperature is -6 degrees Celsius. I have a chest strap heart rate monitor that adjusts the treadmill speed based on where my heart rate is. Very useful to vary the speed then just run one constant speed.
I can’t run on meds. I feel slowed down.
I do have a subscription at the local gym. I almost never go. Maybe again for the future.
I thought id make a good runner but I don’t have a good neighborhood to run around in. I live on a state highway with no shoulders
so instead I got a stationary bike a jump rope and a heavy bag and I never have to leave the house to exercise.
Sort of. I’m just starting to get back into exercising. Mostly I walk, but I really enjoy running even though it hurts like hell because of my shitty joints and arthritis. So I only run for a minute or two a day. Hopefully after I lose a hundred pounds or so it won’t hurt my joints as much and I’ll be able to run more.
Yes, I was polluted by heavy industry here in rural Liaocheng. Many villagers have rhinosinusitis
Many people have reported local businesses, Many people have reported local businesses, but the government does not strictly regulate it to get more GDP
I used to run a lot but it feels impossible on these meds. I like and can walk a lot though, 4 hours + and I do intense yoga.
I hear running is one of the worst exercises you can do. Especially if it’s on cement.
However people do like that ‘runners high’ feeling, I’d imagine it would be good as a coping strategy as well.
For me, I don’t run. I speed walk. Or do other exercises that work out more of my muscles. Swimming is great for that.
Running is high impact on the joints. Beginning runners usually have sore knees at the start of a 3 month running exercise. At about 6 months, the knee joints will get accustomed to the impact as running becomes routine.
There is a reason why sprinting 100m in less than 10 seconds is an Olympic sport not to mention the 5km or 10km runs.
