Gym and workout is very healthy and can boost your mood for a few hours,but I really disliked to go and workout.I am just uninterested or plain lazy.I hoped I love to workout,but not…Now I just want to play football and playing football can allow me to socialize or just be with people.Which is very important for my mental health.I do feel guilty for not working out because i used to workout for 6 years and hated most moment of it…
yea its probably best to find activities you actually enjoy so you can stick with it
It’s a tough one. I’ve got so much out of physical exercise. It can be addictive in itself and it has an upside for mental health as well. Just curious. What meds you on?
Depression is common with sz and it hides among those negative symptoms. It’s good you like football. I still play cricket at soon to be 49 years old! I admire any person playing sport!
I understand your frustration. I want to lose weight but I hate exercising. I am going to be trying to lose weight from just dieting.

Get a bicycle and try riding around. A good, pleasurable form of exercise which has practical benefits as well.
Walking long distances is Good too.
@Gtx1990, when considering exercise, it’s very important to do something that you like and enjoy doing. It really doesn’t matter what it is as long as you are moving the whole time and you enjoy doing it.
the thing is exercise makes you less hungry so its best if they go hand in hand
I don’t like going to the gym either. I don’t like the people or the environment. I think it’s important to do something that you enjoy if you’re gonna be successful at it.
