Exercise is not for me

i walked like 3 miles today while jogging for one lap around the track and i was just angry and depressed because i cant run as much as the other people and my brother kept pushing me to run when i already had to walk a mile to get there and ran one lap around the track and walked 3 laps than afterwards my brother wouldnt stop talking and asking me questions i wasnt even listening because i don’t really like that he tries to give me motivational ■■■■■■■ speeches like he knows everything all the time i actually hate it and when i told him to stop asking me questions he got an attitude i never want to talk to him or exercise again but right now i feel normal i took a nap after we got back home and drank some water but im afraid i wont be able to piss because i have been drinking water and usually i pee alot but now i dont feel the need to pee at all and

i just want to go back to my good old depression and not try to push myself to do stuff anymore just sit in my room everyday because i actually feel better doing that than i feel going outside getting nagged, irritated and told to do more than what i physically can do

if you have not ran in a while, you can not just start. Try slowly building up over a month.

Exercise helps you feel better too…

what happened with abilify didn’t u have bad side effects when u were on geodon

yeah but I am overweight and my weight is not coming down. Geodon helps me lose all the extra weight plus gives me very good energy! I AM SO EXCITED! fingers crossed.

me and my Doc agreed to give it a try for three months and see what happens. We now know Abilify Injections works well. So I can compare both.

Exercise is important. I dislike jogging and most cardio activities also. Perhaps you can find something else you enjoy to get exercise. Swimming, lifting weights and sports are other options that you might enjoy to get exercise. Find something you enjoy and do that. I personally enjoy how i feel after lifting heavy weights so that’s my exercise of choice. After lifting, I spend 30 minutes in the suana/steam room/ jacuzzi at my gym which is immensely pleasurable and helps motivate me to go out on days I might feel like skipping.

talking about exercise, i’m about to go for a 30 minute walk around a block. the block is slanted hill-like too, so a plus. i kinda worry that the people see me walking by their houses 4 times, but hey…

You can’t run on Geodon. I have tried. Lightly jog around the block once and then walk the rest of the way.

It’s the meds. It’s not you. Don’t get discouraged

Walking 20 minutes a day is perfectly acceptable exercise.

I gave up excising over the winter, but I sleep better and keep my weight down when I do walk.

Maybe you could leave your brother at home next time.

Exercise is definitely for me. I can’t function without it. Literally. If I go longer than two days without my yoga, I’m in extreme lower back pain that is intolerable. But, if I do my yoga everyday, I am in no pain whatsoever. Also, I need my keyboard exercise and yoga to keep weight off too.

Exercise is for me but now that I’m a bit older, it’s getting more difficult to stay in shape than it was when I was in my 20’s. I can’t lift as much as I could before or run as fast and as far as I could but doing some exercise is better than no exercise. But also as @Gina2 said, exercise keeps the weight down.
