I often worry that someone will report me for benefit fraud because some days I’m better than others… It’s a long-standing fear of mine. But when I think about it rationally, I really don’t think any of us would be seen as fraudulent. Schizophrenia and related illnesses are so severe that we can’t be expected to function in society in the same way that ‘norms’ do. Please don’t worry about it, there’s no way you are committing fraud!

I would have claimed my own land for free in the old days and grew my own food. There is not much meaningful work left for everybody. We are forced to leisure and voluntary work. Paid jobs are for the sane with a clean resume. Where we suppose to get money from in this fabricated system.

I get this from time to time, it’s a nagging suspicion that goes to my mind.
In reality, I think the fraud is a bit more blatant than people claiming benefits. It’s more people claiming dead people’s identities to claim benefits for themselves.
I haven’t heard of one person who’s been jailed for malingering with the intent of claiming disability income. This simply isn’t a scenario that exists in reality, although it does in the minds of some people. The truth is that if you wanted to break the law, you’d go with the higher rent crimes to get rich quicker.
