Different ap to avoid stiff Muscles

So someone was telling me about this new drug that helps with stiff muscles. I can’t find the post in my archives, don’t know if I missed it or they delete them after awhile. Anybody know how long they keep them. Anyway Maybe someone could help recommend. An ap sounds like I have some signs of td and may have to change medication just as well try to alleviate the stiff muscles.

What does your pdoc say about your possible td?

Haven’t talked to him yet. I really don’t know that’s what it is. The more I think about it . I was recently prescribed gabipentin for some hip pain. I’m going to stop taking the gabipentin and see if it goes away. It’s kinda a lip trembling very faint can’t see it but can feel it, not all the time. Td I Know my Dr asks more about my tongue but I don’t know. Just have to narrow it down.

Why do you feel hesitant to talk to him? If you think he is concerned about your health at all it sounds like something he should know as soon as possible. Someone in a professional capacity should know about this and be able to help you through it.

I don’t mind talking to him ,this is all basically ,I noticed it Friday and it occurred to me yesterday that it could be TD. So I wanted to go off the gabipentin just to see if it goes away. I think it would help him figure it out if I stopped the gabipentin. I’ve only been on it one week So it just seems probable. But I posted about it and a couple people thought it sounded like TD. I know gabipentin works on the nervious system and TD is also a nervous system problem . If it’s not Gone Monday I might call Monday or Tuesday
Stopped the gabipentin Tonight.

I hope everything works out. I’ve never had any tics or anything resembling TD. Once I had a stiff neck after trying a new AP and my pdoc had me stop it and immediately switch back.

I’m sure you know better than I do and I don’t mean to push. But you might want to consider getting in contact with your pdoc as soon as possible. If it persists I don’t think even considering the ER would be unwarranted. Whatever you need to do to get professional advice. Just try to be as safe as possible.
