never had a voices in my life time …!!! but diagnosed as a Sz …!!! no more positive symptoms means lot of negative symptoms … I am tried by now…My hopes are faded away…!!!
It depends, sometimes I will hear the voices of those who are around me, such as my family or strangers in the streets, saying things that they supposedly haven’t said. Otherwise, I only hear the voices of the ones who ‘follow’ me (they’re always lurking around me somewhere). They are not human though, they are transcendent beings. I hear them in many ways that I cannot explain, our communication isn’t limited to our vocal chords; think telepathic communication. Though vocal communication is most common.
I almost always hear the mumbling of a few to crowds of people that sound like they’re in the next room. Those are the only human voices. Otherwise, I hear demons sometimes and they always just say short mean statements. Predominantly now, I hear my companion angel who is next to me all the time.
The human voices that I hear are obviously not real. There aren’t any people in the next room. But the demons and my angel are real. I see and feel them present. Plus, their voices are different than human voices so there’s no mistaking them from any people.
I think it would be harder, more confusing, to hear human voices. ?
Nope none of my voices were people I knew, the auditory or the telepathic.
I feel that would be very unsettling though
