I am on Zyprexa 15mg per day and I am afraid of possible side effects for my health.
I was wondering if many of you had diabetes or cholesterol or other side effects because of your medication

It’s my opinion that Zyprexa gave me diabetes, though my pdoc says not. I don’t know about cholesterol. I’m off Zyprexa and take Abilify now.

Nothing at the moment but i have only been taking it for 1 year and some months i hope it doesnt do that.

I was on seroquel for thirteen years and it definitely did. It gave me a metabolic disorder.

Abilify raised my blood sugar and now I have to take Metformin. If I stop abilify I’m not certain that problem would go away so if that’s the case I’ve got diabetes.

Clozapine shot my cholesterol through the roof in 6 months. My pdoc is trying to get me off of it

Lithium destroyed my metabolism.
Gave me diabetes.

I have high cholesterol from Invega Sustenna not sure what my levels are now that I’ve been off it for so long now and only on Geodon and Loxapine

I’m pretty sure I have diabetes my toes were sore for like 5 months and they are just now starting to feel normal again

Yes my past medications like risperdal gave me diabetes and high blood pressure and made me gain alot of weight.
