If they dare take that risk. Absolutely.
But I do not know if I will ever become as flexible as I was before psychosis. Even without medication, I wonder what the new me looks like.
@stefan24 yea me too. Also I agree with u about doing stuff. I think if I didnāt do anything for a long time it would create stress in me. Just I canāt overdo it anymore cos I canāt handle that
yes, I really do not think that doing nothing will prevent you from getting psychosis. You should therefore organize your activities in such a way that you do not suffer from stress. But that is almost impossible because there are always small things that happen that you have to take into account.
Besides that work gives money. It also gives a satisfied feeling !
APs lower dopamine levels, which are seen by doctors as one of the reasons for sz. If you lower dopamine then you can lose motivation. See this link for what low dopamine does:
It is not good news, and will most likely cause depression and lack of motivation. The interesting thing is that they say sz causes lack of motivation anyway, so it is a lose/lose scenario, however, the notion that lowering dopamine and expecting people to do things is something the doctors know. A lot of szs do nothing, and it is expected.
If you are losing your mind, become difficult to control, canāt interact with anyone and have dangerous delusions to yourself and others then sitting as a vegatable is seen as the better choice for all those around you.
Once medicated, like many people on this site you will be constantly looking for things to give back that life motivation, so use l theanine, sarcosine, nac, niacin, nicotine etc. to get the spark back. The thing is if you raise your dopamine levels too much you run the risk of positive symptoms coming back.
Another aspect is the fact that one might be depressed becuase one has sz in the first place. if that is the case then you can sit around hating it, or in the long run accept it and learn to manage, however, the likelihood of being depressed because of APs is in most cases inevitable.
@stefan24 " taking stuff into account" yes, if I was triggered to hear voices just by people talking or ventilators etc I dunno how much activity I could do. People are different some people really might just not have any motivation to do anything because of how their mind reacted to scz n med
@anon90843118
The strange thing about me is that I totally do not know how my symptoms will develop. I did not hear voices, I felt different every moment and I had paranoid delusions. So I do not really know what psychosis means. Only that my mood is ā ā ā ā . In the establishment they said that I might suffer from bipolar disorder. But they diagnosted me with psychosis nos .
If you have had that, you just do not know what to do. I try things but nothing really work so I think: yes im alive!! It feels like im trapped in my own
did other people notice that were psychotic?
@stefan24 Yes I just checked paranoid delusions can be classified as psychosis so our psychosis are a bit different. Sorry that you feel so bad its not nice. Maybe with time your mood will change.
@stefan24 what do you mean did I see other psychotic people in life?
No, i mean. Did other poeple saw that you were psychotic in your psychosis time?
@stefan24, lol yes I did some crazy things whilst I was psychotic out in public for everyone to see. What about you?
yea haha, i just went to school when having psychosis!
Aparantly in the USA. Zyprexa come with a anti depressant. Canāt remember who told me i think it was @kindness
@green5 noticed depression while she was on rispredalā¦!!!
It can do, but I think itās called something elseā¦
Itās a olanzapine fluoxatine combined pill!
Itās called simbaya or something
Not anymore. 6 mg of Vraylar, 60 mg cymbalta, 50 mg trazodone, and 10 mg of propranolol seems to do the trick. Sarcosine seems to help too.
yes, thatās why they drink so much coffee
