Debating what I want to do tonight

There’s a concert I’ve been really wanting to go to, been looking forward to it, but idk. There are drawbacks that make me unsure if I really want to go.

One is that it’s nearly 80 miles (nearly 130 km) away, though I often drive 100 miles to this other concert venue, and it’s always worth it.

Another is that it’s in the downtown of an unfamiliar city, where parking is going to be a ■■■■■.

Then there’s going alone, though I suppose that’s not too big of a deal.

Idk, but the thing is I know if I go I’ll have a good time. If I go, I’ll be leaving in about two hours.

I think you should go!

Deep down, I think you know it’ll be fun.

It may be a long trip, but you drive a lot everyday, you’re pretty much used to it.

I do understand parking in a big, unfamiliar city is intimidating,

But you’ll end up finding a spot,

I always do.

Yeah, I suppose the biggest source of anxiety is it being in a downtown area I’ve never been to before. That makes me very nervous.

I also think you should go. Get out of the routine for awhile enjoy yourself! It can’t be worse than where you lived before.

What are you talking about?

Treat yourself! If you’re well enough to handle crowds, definitely go for it.

Edit: Oh, that was 1 hour ago. Enjoy anyways!

Yeah, I decided to go. I got here an hour ago. The first band was nothing much to speak of, but maybe the next one will be better.

Good call. Who are you seeing? (no worries if you want to stay anon). I’m usually down for a road trip if its one of my favorite bands or one that I’d never get a chance to see again, as long as my symptoms are in check.

It’s okay, the headliner is a little-known metal band called A Killer’s Confession. I like them a lot; their vocalist is a former vocalist for Mushroomhead. Mushroomhead isn’t that well-known, either, except among metal heads.

Haha, nice man. I was into Mushroomhead in high school. Their 1st couple CDs are worth $50+ now online if you still have them. I’ll have to check AKC out.

A Killer’s Confession was awesome, so glad I went.
