So I have taken my night meds slightly earlier than usual. This usually helps.

I’ve been steadily using up my few clonazepam pills that I got to get me over christmas. I’ve been hitting the espresso shots a lot and that’s definetely making things worse. So mine is probably self inflicted.

Yeah coffee is pretty psychoactive. My brain is just indulging itself on a spot of catastrophising.

I hate that. It’s the worst. No pun intended.

Come to think of it I had two caffeine tablets last night. Could well be a contributory factor

Gonna have a cup of tea and 400mg of ltheanine

I found that l-theanine helped my catastrophic thinking. Sounds like a plan.

Not only does l-theanine actually help but it gives me a huge placebo effect too. Took 2 literally 20 seconds ago and I already feel a bit better. Win-win

@everhopeful I understand you take your pharma grade l-theanine as a regular med. do you think I could appropriately take it as a prn?

Definetely , yes.

Free floating anxiety is horrible. I hope your anxiety has dampened down a little.
