Cut my L-theanine dose. If it ain't broke don't fix it

I was taking 300mg L-theanine when I woke up, and 150mg before I went to sleep and things were “ok”.

I cut it down to 150mg when I woke up.

Now I’m having catastrophic thinking and this is causing me a lot of anxiety to the point of giving me chest tightness.

I’m going back to the old routine.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I take l-theanine daily too.

100mg in the morning
200mg before bed

100mg PRN during the day if I feel anxious (Usually that only happen if I drink too much coffee too quickly, and I read l-theanine counteracts the excitatory effect of caffeine).

This routine has worked for me for months.

I’ve decided on only taking my L-Theanine as needed instead of daily. I’m going to only try taking when I feel particularly anxious from my caffeine pills or whatever the reason.

I hadn’t felt anxious in a long time until I started taking caffeine pills. I guess I just am not used to caffeine anymore. oh well, I’m still going to take them. The positives outweigh the negatives.
