I’ve never taken Clozapine. I’m currently on Olanzapine. Both are well known to cause weight gain.

I lost over 100 lbs while on clozapine but just gained weight forever on Zyprexa.

Olanzapine I think was detrimental to my weight problems

Clozapine i put weight on but as it says online it did reduce after a year

But I was also eating better and did swimming

I have put a lot of weight back on now mainly through poor diet

When I was on Olanzapine I had no idea it had side effects

Was unwell when I got put on it and distanced myself from services

Joining this forum taught me a lot

Olanzapine gives you hunger pangs and makes you crave food especially junk food. So with eating more there’s an inevitable weight gain. I don’t know anything about clozapine.

Yes I’ve tried both,but Olanzapine gave me extra weight,and now on Clozapine I can’t loose it…

Zyprexa made me gain weight very fast

Clozaril too but not to the point of olanzapine in my particular case
