When I close my eyes I see realistic movies and I can read from imaginary pages of books unknown to me. Anyone else?
I don’t see that but I do see stuff when I close my eyes. I usually don’t like it when it happens
It happens less now that I’m on meds. Not so sure it’s a good thing but I’m trying to roll with it.
When I dream it so real when i read stuff. Like i can’t see it but out of memory i can and just visualize as if the page was there. Kinda trippy lol
I can see other people and other places,
Places I’ve never been and sometimes I see sheet music for songs I’ve never heard.
That sounds pretty cool man, it’d be great to have a library inside your head.
Are the stories any good?
I don’t mean to encourage delusions, but that does sound pretty cool. Are the words coherent?
I’ve read a book in a dream, but the words ended up being incoherent.
When I am off meds, I have really graphic closed eye hallucinations of very scary images and these hallucinations interact with me. I have tactile hallucinations along with these visual hallucinations.
some meds cause kaleidoscoping effects this is like a picture show with your eye closed. I had this happen in studies I did for latota and Risperdal .
They are beautiful and mysterious
It is cool. Right.
Glad there’s some upside to the illness.
I don’t know if it’s the illness or if it’s normal. I see complex scenes like a movie.
Schizophrenia causes the dream-related faculties of the brain to be activated all day long, so those are basically day dreams.
I don’t see simple visual stuff. I see movies so beautiful like being directed by an artist
Should I talk to my pdoc about this? It’s harmless
Sometimes, I close my eyes at night and can still see in the dark as if it was bright as day… I call it the Underworld, because that’s where the angriest ghosts live.
If i did farm work at night i’d see leaves and broccoli
if i did skiing i’d see little people in ski lifts or on a little piste
if i went to the beach etc etc
only on brightly sunny days though
but i have seen detailed video clips but it wasn’t often
and when on acid i used to think i could read the letters on carpets
this was like alphabet world stuff
not the same thing at all but I wonder if it might be possible that you are filling in some of the gaps with the reading thing.
what you’re describing is pretty much as elaborate as it ever could be
I used to get this majorly
I remember once having a really frightening hallucinations and I closed my eyes but it just continued. Same thing happened when I used to hear voices when I first got ill I would stuff tissue in my ears but they just continued.
I remember having tissue stuck in my ears on the psych ward and the psychiatrist having to get s pair of tweezers and unravel it all out cause I’d shoved it so far in.
It’s horryfing for me. I get you. I get spinning distorted heads, etc. Feels like a version of hell.
