Or the other thing I’m thinking about is being a kid put on these aps after not experiencing any psychosis and then going off of them and having a severe psychotic episode and who knows what happens.
ADHD treatment in a ‘nutshell’
This happens everyday, all over the globe to it must be ‘millions’ as they are prescribing at a younger age nowadays, I have been saying these things to a brick wall for years now.
Yea that’s true…maybe it’s only a matter of time until they start to change the terminology. Also the phrase schizophrenia is so old… It ofcourse means “split mind”. What that has to do with this condition is beyond me. “Chronic hallucination condition” or something similar would make a lot more sense to me lol. But hey that’s just my opinion
Lol the last thing I’m worried about is displeasing large corporations. They’ve got half my paycheck ain’t that enough sheessh lol
Moves to Forest
I see yea I agree. It’s just that if I say “oh I have a liver problem” they instantly get it and say take all the time you need. You know what I mean. If more people knew it had a physical basis they would be more understanding and accommodating. Anyways haha. Hope your day is going well.
I just want an easier way to describe the medical condition without saying exactly what it is. I’d start saying I have a brain disease but I don’t want them to think I have brain cancer or something.
Maybe saying I have a “neurological condition” is best. Just would be cool to have something easy to say without saying exactly what condition. A common replacement for “mental illness”.
With the collusion between Big Pharma and bad minded social workers bidding behind your back it’s a bit of a black hole here!.
I find this highly amusing. I’m getting to go off meds because psychology has worked so well for me that I my doctor says I have industrial grade coping skills. She’s betting on skills I learned in therapy over prescribing me medication for managing my schizophrenia.

No I am not Polish. I am from Canada. I just like the player.
Yea sure. Apparently you’re the only case in the whole world too.
It works for lots of people so long as they aren’t bitter and suffering from confirmation bias the size of an iceberg.
You’re just oldschool and oldfashioned. Do you also believe in psychoanalysis and Freud too? ![]()
The future is medicine all the way.
Uh, sure. You’ve not noticed my hobbies involve cutting edge tech in a lot of cases?
I believe in using anything that lets me function on the lowest possible dose of meds so I can enjoy my life.
I wish this was true medically that therapy makes ppl able to reduce their meds. There is no proof.
You just like blaming ppl for their misery.
I just say I struggle with depression as many people have experienced that sort of thing. Trusted people I will come right out to eventually.
My personal theory is that meds stop the voices and therapy helps make sense of them and reduces them slightly by reducing stress…
That’s just my personal belief tho.

Guys let’s just keep the peace lol I think you both have great points.
You regularly complain about being brain damaged (I’m really starting to buy into this by the way), yet you think you know more than my psychiatrist?
Huh.
My pdoc never recommended therapy.
