I switched to vaping as I couldn’t quit cigarettes cold turkey :turkey:.

Then I switched from vaping to max strength lozenges. The lower strength lozenges were useless.

Then I quit lozenges.

It’s very hard to do, but very possible.

I was a heavy smoker in the past
I smoked at least 2 packs of cigarettes a day.
Then one day I put my mind to quitting

I quit cold turkey just like that

I’ve been smoke free for decades now

It does get easier as time goes by

Good luck @zoa

Well,it’s my first day again ..
I’m on patches (20 mgs) and gums…
Need to stop because I developed COPD …

I stopped vaping and started pouches

Im about to stop pouches in the next couple of weeks and go to lozenges

After a month of that im going to do patches and hopefully that will be it.

Everything is good except cigarettes …
There is nicotine spray.
Can you get it?

I use pouches right now. The last time i vaped/smoked it really was very damaging to my health.

I think i will continue on the path of quitting

i quit cigarettes 6 days ago and was using the step 1 nicotine patch. i failed last night and smoked, didnt even feel worth it after i was done smoking, threw out the cigs to try again. may use the patch again as its much healthier than smoking, but lately the patches keep losing adhesive and sliding around, maybe because i put it somewhere that can bend

I’m almost 2 years off the cigs and 16 months off the vape. I still chew nicotine gum but my COPD has gotten a lot better since i quit inhaling toxins. It wasn’t easy to quit but I’m saving so much money now cuz a pack of the cigs i used to smoke now costs $16!

One patch 10 mgs,gums a lot…
Second day ..

I quit my pack a day cigarette habit in July of 2021 and haven’t touched any form of nicotine since.

I smoke a lot in my dreams though.

Then I wake up and shout the F word really loud cuz I know I can’t have one.

My plan of smoking through my twenties and quitting in my thirties backfired cuz my subconscious never stopped craving them lol.

I’ll never smoke again, 300 dollars a month in my pocket is not going back out, not with prices of food having risen since 2021.

If you’re trying to quit, please hold yourself responsible. Suffer through the first month. Treat it like you have a terrible, terrible flu. Complain. Tell your family to put up with you for that month. Then it gets easier.

I cut down to vaping only 3mg unflavored vape juice. I started ozempic and it is supposed to help stop using nicotine. I will ask for chantix or some medication if I can not stop nicotine completely by the end of summer. I need nicotine completely out of my life.
