@Blossom When I was a child we had a Dog called Scooby Doo, he was a black mongrel that nobody wanted. My Mum thought he was a naughty dog because he wouldn’t do anything he was told, and he also hated other dogs and chased after cars. My Dad liked that dog and I didn’t mind him.

I much prefer dogs. They are a lot of hard work though. If and when anything happens to my dog I highly doubt I would ever have another. Partly cause I love her so much and she can’t be replaced but also cause of how hard work they are.

Dogs. Cats cant do anything…except catch mice but dogs can do that too

I like both cats and dogs. If I had to pick, If say I prefer dogs but that’s primarily because I’m allergic to cats and therefore I have a dog.

OMG…dogs are winning the poll…I have never seen dogs win one of these polls on this forum yet. Go dogs!

I have a bird, cat and a dog. Don’t ask me to chose.

I’m a true kitty lover. I’ve always hated dogs. I’ve got myriad reasons for that and they are good reasons. As I get older, I’m starting to warmup to dogs more though.

omg…so cute matey. I can’t have any more cats with dad so was trying to get him to get a dog. No dice. Looks like he’s settled in nicely. Good job matey. It’s good to have a furry companion.

He’s a happy dog. We’re already attached to each other after just 2 weeks.

It will get even better on Wednesday as he’ll be finally allowed to go on proper walks!

I like dogs and my early days were cats and dogs.

I had to let a cool dog leave my life while I was young and move into housing. It was hard and we had cats too…I got a cat years later and it was a good mix so I’m a totally cat person but love dogs as well. Just don’t have the energy for dogs anymore!

Having a dog is almost like having another human in your family. They’re big, they take up room, they need a lot of love and daily walks. Cats are pretty self-managing by comparison.

I am always amazed by people who have like 3 or more dogs and then some cats on top of that. At what point do you lose control of your household? I think 1 dog and 1 cat would be my max, or two cats. Probably not 2 dogs though.
