Can you trick 5 Psychiatrists into thinking you have Schizoaffective Disorder?

With 11 involuntary hospital admissions. If you can trick 5 Consultant Psychiatrists (which are the most trained Psychiatrists in the UK) does that mean you are incredible intelligent or do you think the person is in denial about their illness This person has spend a total od 10 months involuntary in a psychiatric hospital? Do you think you could fake your way through that?

Why would you want to trick them?

Because of disability benefits. I’m trying to see if I really have a mental illness or have faked it to obtain disability benefits? Can you fake it if you’ve not actually read up on symptoms or copied others, if things kinda fell into place and you got DXed without much acting?

If you were that good of an actor, you’d make far more $ in the entertainment industry than disability.

In short, no, I don’t think you’ve tricked psychiatrists. Usually the simplest explanation is the correct one, that you have sza/sz or related disorder.

I think to myself I did it because I have nobody in my life. I was a abused and neglected child. I was emotionally and physically abused by my parents and from the age of 9 I was taken into care and put into a unloving foster home who only cared about the money. When I was 25 I was living alone with no family or support and only one friend I drank with who only came around when I had money. I think I made up illness for attention. Still I only have people in my life who get paid for being there. If it wasn’t for them I would still be alone.

I’m sorry that happened to you. All of those stresses can contribute to your becoming sza/sz or other mental illness.

We do care about you here. No one pays us to do that.

That right there tells me there is something wrong.

How?.. I would like to know please.

It’s unlikely. For people with mental illness it is very common to doubt themselves and think that they don’t really have it. I think maybe this comes from having unsupportive loved ones who may be giving them messages like “get over it you don’t have any real problems” then the people internalize this and think they must be faking. Very sad when people are brainwashed into not trusting their own experience.
