Could you to deliberately fake it or unconsciously fake it SZA? Like if a person has spent 2 years in hospital on 11 involuntary admissions could a person keep up the pretence for that long, even out off hospital in a 24/7 staffed group home with nobody suspecting a thing? Even when that person has openly said they faked everything but still nobody believes that person? Can you trick 5 consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers?
Or do you think that person is in denial and thinking he’s faked it is a delusion?
You’d still have to have some kind of psychological problem to want to fake all of that for so long just to get a small amount of money. You’d probably get more money stacking shelves in a supermarket, which any healthy and functioning person should be capable of.
Doesn’t seem worth it IMO. I know I didn’t fake it. Who the hell wakes up one day and says “I’m gonna be schizoaffective from now on”…Nobody. Mental illness is not a choice. hypochondriasm is along these lines and that’s a mental illness in itself.
having schizophrenia blows… that’s all I’d say in my personal defense.
it does get eerie when I consider it isn’t real when those weird strokes of actual clarity set in… then i wind up distrusting if people believe I have schizophrenia at all
It’s really on the doctors to provide accurate evaluations and diagnoses… people already try to fraud everything and the counter measures are already in place. You don’t need to worry anything changing.
Even an Academy Award winning actor couldn’t convincingly fake sza for such a prolonged period of time and under circumstances such as extended periods of hospitalization where there are medical staff constantly monitoring the patient.
I know someone with epilepsy and she has admitted to faking seizures for attention. But that’s someone already diagnosed with an illness faking symptoms.
Sza and sz are hard to fake i have had problems with my in-laws suggesting that I’m faking cognitive symptoms like I’m easily confused, memory problems and lack of motivation
That was exactly what I was going to say. If you do that you’re subject to medications with very strong side effects, and you’re subject to incarceration in a mental health facility.
