I was on olanzapine 20mg with 2mg of risperidone. It has failed to achieve anything. WHat now…would you recommend a different med or what course of action.
You need at least close to 6 weeks to know if it works…
Thats ok - there are many medications that don’t work for any once person - you just need to find one that does.
Here is a list of all the antipsychotics that are available. Work with your psychiatrist to find one that does work for you.
Abilify has a slightly different method of action, I’m on that.
like @gtx1990 says it takes 6 weeks or more for the meds to work. But failed meds are not something i wish to experience again anytime soon. I’m on high doses of meds 160mgs of latuda and 10 mgs of haloperidol.
