How long ago?? Stopping soda can take time to get the result of weight loss, rome wasn’t built in a day

I’ve had problems losing weight since I was in my early 20’s I’m now close to 100lbs over weight and finally losing weight, I had to find what worked for me… Exercise helps and a good healthy diet helps (depending on what you call healthy, remember bread, flour, and other starchy and high in carbs foods turn into sugar in the body and that sugar can turn into fat)

Week ago but I’ve been eating less too

It’s going to take more than a week to start losing the weight, good healthy weight loss is 1 - 2lbs lost a week! That’s not much, also eating less it good as long as it’s healthy food, if you’re eating less but it’s more high calorie food you’re not going to lose weight

I eat only 1500 calories

Give it time, you maybe losing weight without realizing it, 1 lb a week is not much as I said and you don’t want to lose it to fast. Also add in some exercise, walk 30 min a day or lift weights, just don’t give up, you got this

I weighted myself and it was exactly the same.

I also walk at least 10k steps daily

Go to the doctor and ask for some advice, that’s the last thing I got for advice… Maybe they can help

I used to completely blame the meds but after calculating my calories and limiting them to a healthy level I lost significant weight. Sugar and bread are empty and very dense calories so reducing them will surely help, by bread I mean all carbs like pasta, rice etc

@Aziz I pretty well suggested that so I completely agree… I just kinda gave up because she’s not listening or is arguing with me

That’s good. It will help.

Only ten pounds? Want to trade problems?

I am listening to you! I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong

@Crystal-Cotton try bringing your calorie count down to 1,200 daily (what my doctor recommended for me) less carbs (bread, rice, and flour) and less sugar and sweets

I don’t eat any sweets (just saying). I’ll try the 1200 calories

Okay well it’s good you don’t eat sweets but you have to remember two slices of bread is about the equivalent sugar (including carbs because carbs are a sugar to the body unless they are fiber) to about half of a candy bar I think
