Its been years I have them, no improvement.
Will they go away one day?
I’m pretty sure if you lose some more weight you will gain some motivation back.
I am obese and feel sluggish.
I have a hard time step walking over 4000 steps!
My negative symptoms improved on Wellbutrin
Truth. My energy level is increasing as my weight decreases. It makes it easier to push back against the negs.
I tried wellbutrin, it made my positives a bit worse and had insomnia. Maybe I should try it again.
I take it right after breakfast so it doesn’t give me insomnia
For Me many years ago I just had “negative symptoms” for many years – what I thought was my situation in life or depression. Then this state went away. At some point they gave me meds and call it negative symptoms. But my negative symptoms are not there… It’s just the meds.
I’m pretty sure if you do nothing they get worse. I think it’s the positives that improve with time

So there is no hope?
Why did you switch your prn from risperidone to geodon? Was geodon better for negative symptoms?
The only hope at the moment is working on behavioral changes and experimenting with a mixmash of supplements or prescription stimulants.
It even says in many articles that aps don’t really improve negative symptoms they primarily treat positives.
But hopefully they figure it out.
Maybe it’ll be a designer m-rna drug that solves it
The m-rna class is brilliant because they can run billions of simulations as tests versus having to do really expensive human trials
Was Geodon better than risperidone as prn?
Old article. But now we have the mrna technology
It wasn’t. I got weird withdrawal effects from geodon as prn. Like a rebound hallucinatory state after 12hrs. I preferred the risperidone as prn
Yea thats why I am afraid of trying Geodon. I read its much less effective than risperidone.
Geodon worked if I took it twice a day consistently. It just gave me bad akithisia unfortunately
My negatives disappeared on their own
Did you try Latuda? It wasn’t effective for my positive symptoms but it might be good for you.
