I think they could make you more yourself if you find the right meds that get rid of your symptoms.

I’ve been told we will be more ourselves on the right meds. But I think maybe on certain meds we will be more or less outgoing, more is less talkative, more or less expressive, more or less irritable, more or less patient, and more or less calm.

Yes I think the meds can change our personality but also the illness itself can change our personality.

I am touchy and hostile off meds. On meds I am more sociable.

Schizo can change personality even while on meds.

I am less withdrawn because of meds. And more cooperative and realistic.

Yes. They take away my “me”. My character traits change. But also my ideas, my feelings, my energy, my values and my sense of self. I feel less love and connection on meds, which is essential imho. They do make me more easy to deal with for others.
