Yeah abilify was causing anxiety when I tried it for few days

I was taking Klonopin for anxiety when I was on Risperidone, but I didn’t need the Klonopin anymore after switching to Abilify. You should ask your pdoc though.
It did nothing for my anxiety when i was prescribed it infact sometimes i felt like it induced it as it sped me up too much. Id never go on it again not for this bur for other reasons. I had many problems on it i find Zyprexia alot better for me.
Abilify made me extremely anxious. I don’t normally have anxiety but abilify made me scared of leaving the house because I was afraid that I would randomly start choking with nobody around to save me. I stopped taking it and went back to normal.
Wow, I’m on Abilify injection and so far i’m ok with it, maybe it’s a good idea to switch or try out other meds.

I have been on abilify injections monthly for years now. I definitely think that it makes my social anxiety much worse. But the catch is that it helps my positive symptoms a lot. Not sure what to do about it. Anti depressants dont work and the doctors wont prescribe benzos or anything becuause of the possiblility of addiction.
