The kindle paperwork is fantastic! I have one and I got my sister and my mom kindle paperwhites as a gift last year. We all love our kindles!

I also really like the Amazon Fire tablets. They are inexpensive and work great. I have never had any of my Amazon tablets or e-readers break down. I occasionally buy a newer model when they come out, but also keep the older models since they’re still working. I’m a little embarrassed to admit it but I have a total of 5 Amazon Fire tablets and two Kindle e-readers.

Ok, i read for about 45 minutes and so far i really enjoy it. It’s super light and easy to hold, battery didn’t even go down, and i can carry around a library in my backpack. Worth it for me, even with my meager paycheck.

They offer daily deals for Kindle e-books where you can pick up books for super cheap. I just monitor the daily deals as well as the monthly deals and have snagged some fantastic deals.

Also, most local libraries now have e-books that can be checked out if you have a library card.

I love the backlight on the kindle paperwhite—super for reading at night. Adjustable fonts and font sizes are useful too.

You should totally get one. I hate reading on tablet - the glare messes with my sleep, mood, gives me headaches, I get exhausted by it before I can read too much.

Kindles (and other e-ink-type readers) really make you feel like you’re reading paper. You can read forever. So convenient!

(So far, I’ve had a Touch (the oldschool, un-lit Paperwhite), a Voyage, and an Oasis, the last two being if you really want to spend a lot of money on a Paperwhite. Recommend all of them.)

I would like to get a kindle.mainly for bead zines. Il

I’ve got an old Kobo that is still usable, but it’s looking beat up after 7 years of the kid stealing it from me. Seriously considering the Paper White. I do have a Fire 8" that is surprisingly good for the money I spent.

It’s a great buy. Only thing is I’m not sure how DRM and file compatibility would work between Kobo and Kindle - would your books transfer?

what is good about these things lad?

I convert everything to ePub to make sure they are compatible. The DRM on Kindle books is pretty easy to defeat.

Then I have no reservations in recommending a Paperwhite.
