E-readers- What do you like or recommend?

The bookcase thread and mention of fires (lol) got me thinking about e-readers. I would like to get one. Right now, I’m eyeing the Oasis as it is waterproof, and I like to read in the bath. It encourages me to take baths. Do you have one? If so (or even if not), what do you recommend?

The paperwhite has good reviews. Is anyone familiar with it? 6" seems kind of small. I don’t know.

The Kindle Paperwhite is amazing. Sister has one and it’s so much nicer than my decade old Kindle. Lol

I have a Fire tablet. Has Kindle app built in. Works great. I use it for everything online.

I have the kindle paperwhite. I really like it.

The 2019 kindle paperwhite is waterproof.

I have the Kindle Fire 8th Gen. Had it for a long while now. It hasn’t failed me yet. Not water proof but still a nice reader. I guess you don’t want something to big to discourage you from picking it up and too small it will feel like you could break the darn thing.

I have both the Kindle Fire and just bought the Kindle Paperwhite. I actually prefer the Fire because the Paperwhite seems to have some delays when loading things that the Fire doesn’t. That said, the Paperwhite’s screen seems brighter and the battery lasts longer.

İ have kindle paperwhite. İ used to buy at 2014.so its been 5 years. No problem at all. Only problem not all kindle e books are competible with paperwhite. some of them just say “this book not competible on this device”. So if you don t want this problem you should buy oasis.

I’ve got a 10 year old Kobo Touch that’s still going strong. Kid keeps bootlegging it. Considering the Kindle Paper White and giving punk the Kobo. I can read on my tablets but the light bothers me late and night and I have trouble sleeping within an hour of looking at a lit screen.

I am happy with kobo. Check out the archives of the erader bookstore. I would get my next ereader based on the store.
Do you know they invented enotepad recently. It’s something like epaper. I like to get one on xmas.

Thanks for all the input, y’all. I think the Paper White sounds best for me. Cheaper than the Oasis, but waterproof.
