So. Masters of the mundane. I know some people are critical but we are not all doom or gloom and we have lives outside our diagnosis so thus the boring but interesting to you thread!
My contribution. Got an air fryer and gawd. You can do chips without dipping them in a litre of fat and they come out so good. Doing lots of things and enjoying so to healthier chip eating my boring but interesting thing is my gawddamn air fryer…
my action figures…I greedily stare at them all day but some would find that flat out boring…there is an action figure and toy museum in my town too that I like to go to…nerd nerd haha
Piano tuning. I can’t do it myself, but I have a piano and the hour or so it takes the tech to tune it is heavenly. I can listen to that process all the live long day.
My pipe collection and mason jars of tobacco.
Got thirteen smoking pipes and have 17 nicer pipes tucked away in my closet.
A weird old-fashioned hobby, but I enjoy it.
Not gonna buy any more pipes for quite some time, I’ve already spent way too much money despite most of the being heavily discounted.
Got a pay off my credit and stop buying stuff.
I lost in a game of age of empires today made me rage I was playing the French and I was fighting Japan and they were spamming so many cannons I was trying to counter it with culverins and calvary but my economy tanked French calvary are too expensive I hate fighting Japan
Probably not everyone’s thing, but I love watching insects. Caterpillars are fascinating, as well as moths and beetles and pretty much any other insect you can name… Except mosquitoes. They must die
I bought a program called Sharpen AI from Topaz Labs. It works so well that I’m wondering if black magic is involved. I’m able to recover shots that are slightly out of focus and it competely fixes diffraction on shots where I had to stop down to a small aperture. Bloody amazing.
A bunch of non-photographers have no idea what I’m talking about.
Bible study per app, sitting out on my balcony on a nice day, reading books, studying art history and music history, doing yoga, practicing piano, reading nursing magazines, studying Spanish.
