What do you do when you're bored?

Like what do you do to pass the time? I get bored at my apartment so much. I usually just go to sleep and stay up all night reading.

I hate to say this, but lots of times I go the fridge and start to eat mainly carbs.

I’m not proud of this fact.

I decided that I’m going to start eating healthier and walking more.

Yeah I totally empathize with you @Wave my diet hasn’t been the best lately. I have gained a lot of weight and I eat a lot of fast food and take out food.

Best wishes to ya on the new healthy lifestyle :+1:

I’m a bit like you @Chrishasheart, I sleep when I’m bored.

I need to get back into drawing or something. I have a couple of ideas for pictures in my head but I don’t have the motivation to sit down and actually draw them.

Hey @anon84763962! Do you have the ability to take a drawing class? I find when I don’t have enough motivation taking a class or seminar in it can kind of give me that drive to do it.

Yeah my loxapine makes me really sleepy throughout the day.

A big problem for me is agitation. My body feels all shaky, I try to scratch my face and I nearly hurt myself. It’s very rough because I’m often exhausted in the first place. But when I have a little energy I shadow box.

I find boxing so fascinating. The way you shift your weight to create all that force. The graceful movements. And it’s good for releasing tension.

When bored I like to shop or watch TV about cooking or fashion and design. Love to eat roasted chicken, and coleslaw.

I hope to get a part-time job so I’m never bored. Even when I volunteered 10-15 hours a week, I would never get bored because when I wasn’t working I was relaxing and it made it seem more enjoyable. You take the down-time for granted until you start volunteering/working. I’d like to read watch sports and movies more when I’m not working. Go for walks/hikes. Listen to music. Basic stuff.

For me I tend to daydream. I actually do this quite often. Other than daydreaming I’ll read or draw. With the drawing though I get stuck. I can see the image in my mind I know what I want an image to look like but I can never seem to get the image through my pencil and onto my paper. Sometime the mood just strikes me though and I doodle like crazy and it ends up into a picture that I’m proud of.
