Cats cradle by Kurt Vonnegut.
Have it already, but haven’t read it yet
Slaughterhouse 5?
In my experience books aren’t like that. What one person likes is not necessarily something that any other given person might like, or would be liked by everyone. And something you might like at this stage of your life might not be something for another stage.
Also have it. From Kurt Vonnegut I have: Cats Craddle, Slaughterhouse Five, Mother Night, Breakfast of Champions and Bluebeard
That’s true, but if I don’t ask for opinions I might never find something I might enjoy
Good collection. He is great.
Here are a few books I liked to read: Fahrenheit 451, Yukio Mishima’s ‘Confessions of a Mask,’ light novel ‘Nobody’s Boy’ (Sans Famille) by Hector Malot, Kon-tiki (compulsory reading when I was younger )
Picture/Artbooks: I enjoyed the prints and drawing by ‘Kathe Kollwitz’ and Casper David Friedrich.
Thank you
The name of the rose by umberto Eco.
Thank you too, my mom has it but I haven’t read it
The unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundera
One of my favorite books
I have one copy, Chinese version.
Have you read Milan Kundera’s Immortality? It’s on my top 10 too
Not read it.
Have you read Gabriel Garcia Marquez?
Yes!! All time favorite book (so far) is One hundred years of solitude. Also read chronicle of a death foretold and a short story that I didn’t like
Harry Potter I started when I was 9 and the deathly hallows came out when I was 17, I also read the cursed child
I like the books of Joseph Heller & Terry Pratchett. I’m a sucker for good satire.
I like Hunter S. Thompson & Irvine Welsh as well but there is a lot of Drugs & Human darkness in both their work. Not everyone’s cup of tea.
