The only things that work for me are benzos and in the UK nobody will prescribe them all the time. :frowning_face: All I get is some crappy zopiclone that doesn’t work well as I built up such a tolerance to it. Sorry to moan!

What sleep meds do you take?

I take a combo of seroquel Mirtazapine and melatonin. I pm you.

I took seroquel once but it made me too sleepy and I was falling asleep during the day. Mirtazapine made me put on loads of weight and kept me awake. It’s great if you’ve found a combo that works for you and helps you sleep.

I’m on abilify and it’s quite stimulating. I need two 7.5 mg zopiclones to get to sleep now but I haven’t told my pdoc that!

The best sleep combo for regular use for me was Seroquel 400mg & Mirtazapine 15mg. For benzos I really like Nitrazepam, it just works superb for me.

I had that years ago when I first became psychotic. I doubt my current pdoc would prescribe it even short term. Do you get them prescribed?

I take Mirtizipane, valerian root, and melatonin.

I used to take remeron but it caused too much weight gain. Now I just rely on PM aspirin.
