A friend was talking about our group of friends (this was back in highschool mind you, lol) and she was saying the best thing about everyone. She said stuff like you’re funny, you’re smart, you’re pretty, etc. She got to me and said “you’re just all around perfect. Seriously” lol she said it like she was jealous of me too. And in front of our group of friends. It made me feel so freaking good. Lol

my best compliment is from my father in law, one of the few I have ever received. he said “brown may have a lot of problems but she does anything and everything for those kids (my partner’s little sister and her nieces and nephews).”

My JV soccer team’s mood was sour one day, so we got in a circle and everyone stood in the middle as everyone said their favorite thing about the person in the middle. Some of the ones I got were “a good friend” and the one I remember most which was “purely awesome”. I wish I could think those things about myself, perhaps I’m too hard on myself but when other people hear what I’ve been through they are super nice about it.

When I was renting a room in a private home with six other people renting rooms also, a girl my age who lived there liked me. We were both in our forties. She happened to be Asian and I have always had a thing for Asian women. They are so exotic and mysterious and sexy to me. But I like some women of all races.
Anyways I gave her a ride to the county hospital when she hurt her ankle and after her visit and we were walking to the car she had to lean on me for support. I used to wear a pair of Ray-Bans (sunglasses) in summer whenever I went out. I was wearing them when I was driving her home and she told me I looked like Tom Cruise in “Risky Business” when he wore his Ray-Bans. I think she was just buttering me up to get in this poor, innocent boys pants. But yeah, being told I’m good looking is my favorite compliment. I’ve received many compliments on my work over the years. I like those too.
