Once I was told “if I were to pick a human to represent our race to alien visitors it would be you”. Very flattering and creative compliment. That guy was awesome. I’ve got tons of good compliments the last couple years but that was my fav.

I have a good friend who calls me “the face”. She thinks I have a pretty face. I call her “the hair”. I think she has very beautiful hair.

One time a director a company I worked for said I was the smartest guy he ever met. That kinda felt good

I was told by someone that I am a remarkable and highly articulate young woman… that touched me deeply because of who said it to me. I don’t always find it easy to accept compliments, but that was a special feeling.

I don’t know how to accept complements well, so my favorite one was a bit backhanded; “you’re not as stupid as you look”

I have a hard time accepting compliments too. My favorite one is, “I don’t care what everyone else thinks, you’re all right.”

I’ve known my step-dad for more than twenty year.s About a year ago he wrote me an e-mail after my mom died jut talking about what a good person she was and how sad it was that she died and gave me an update on how his life is going. At the end of the e-mail he wrote to me, "I’ve known you for over twenty years at this point This past year I have noticed a new maturity in you. …and then he said, “I have always admired you for your willingness and drive to reach your goals no matter what else is going on in your life”.

My roommate on the Psych Ward wrote me a letter telling me how nice I was.
He wished me good things.
He placed it on my pillow before he was discharged.
I think he wrote it because he noticed that I was being abused by some of the staff there.
He had a big Heart.

My fave is ‘you are stupid in a sexy way’ from a guy I like a lot. Lolzzz

One time a friend said I seemed a lot younger than I was at the time. But when I had been off my meds for psoriasis and other skin problems the guy who was there to pick me up on an ambulance said I looked 40.(I was 35)
But others have thought my mom was my wife who didn’t know me, my dermatologist at the time for one.
My mom had me young and does look young for her age but I can’t help but think maybe I look old.
