Was having a conversation about bad dreams in the “Say Anything” thread and had a guess that they might be dopamine or other neurotransmitter related. It only took a few seconds to find an article on this, so I thought I would open it up for discussion and offer a poll.
I have heard many people here complain about bad dreams so lets see how prevalent it truly is and maybe get to the bottom of it.

I don’t know the solution to this without discontinuing meds , if any exists , and if they are the cause, but maybe we can figure some of this out in this thread. Maybe there is a med that can help. Maybe not.
Anyway, eager for your input.
Edit: Also, I plan to ask pdoc about this on next visit.
I first thought it was some psychosis carrying over to my dream state had AP increased and still had nightmares along with bad joint pain and stiffness.
I haven’t had no positive symptoms in several months.
I’ve been psychosis free for many years, so if yours has the same cause as mine, I would suspect it’s much more likely to be the meds altering neurotransmitters.
My dreams in a nutshell are what the inside of a nutshell would look like if it were a bloody crime scene! I’m not sure what they’re from but I hope they find their way out of my psyche and they can all together kiss the heck off!
It’s bad when your fit bit gives you a sleep score of 60 because I woke up so much it also says I was in a deep sleep for 45 minutes and a light sleep for 2 hours all together
Thanks @everhopeful . I almost always take mine between 8 and 10pm. I dont take it at the exact same time, but have a range of when I allow myself to take it. I shoot for 9pm but allow myself some leeway in case I go to bed early or something.
