I am not a historian. However, I don’t think Hitler was formally diagnosed paranoid condition. Psych symptoms can wax and wane and be a matter of degrees. It is believed and supported by research that increased stress will make such symptoms become more pronounced. Paranoia, especially mild paranoia, can be adaptive in a hostile environment too so there are benefits.

Yeah, sure, a paranoid schizophrenic, came relatively close to dominating the world, gave speeches in front of millions of people hundreds of times, ran an entire country and juggled a war on several fronts and had a thousand details to take care of on a daily basis to attempt to manage a war. And he was a paranoid schizophrenic all along and no one knew it until this clown who wrote the article comes along.
