Are you ecofriendly?

Good stuff!

I do not or did not drink coffee out that often but more since I moved in with family because they shout me coffee out sometimes.

I don’t try particularly to be.

I think businesses are more responsible because of the things they do is just at such a larger scale then what an individual or a community can do. Airplanes and trucks driving endlessly to businesses and they don’t do it because they like the drive. They do it because of the business’s interests.

But when u throw away trash, do u take ur bin With u? Like no plastic bag?

And im not so Good at cleaning plastic stuff, Will keep that in mind.

We throw out a small bag of trash per week. Most stuff is sorted into bins along the side of my garage. Cans, bottles, plastic, paper/cardboard. When the bin is full it goes to the recycle depot and gets emptied into the appropriate area. Compost goes to a compost bin out back and to the compost area.

Damn. You’re on top of it. Nice!

when I read how much food is thrown away in the U.S. every year

I really started to never throw food away. I’ll eat it up to a week later

or we feed it to the stray cats, or even Deoge sometimes.

So mad when I worked at Walmart, and we’d throw so much away

and all 6 of their dumpsters were pad locked.

Like what? If its reasonable, affordable I’m all for it.

I recycle and I buy some eco-friendly products like plant based products and ones that can break down without harming the earth or the animals. I like helping the earth instead of damaging it, as best I can of course.

Mr. Star and I try to be eco friendly, but we’re staring down the barrel of parenthood and disposable diapers. No matter what anyone says, cloth is not a viable alternative, especially with medically fragile children or children prone to rash. And they ALWAYS leak. We will try the biodegradable ones, but we’ve heard really negative reviews from our parent friends.

It feels better indeed.

@insidemind Wave,Wind.Tidal,Solar Powered + Hydrogen Fuel Cell systems etc

I’ve dumped a ton of trash bags into the ocean when I was on an aircraft carrier, but I don’t think it’s as bad as dumping nuclear waste into the ocean. Yes that has happened.

I don’t recycle but I reuse a lot and my electricity supplier is 100% wind and solar.
