Anything that helps cognition?

I tried Sarcosine twice, it gave me a headache and was a bit catatonic in bed. Felt bad on it.

Only caffeine so far is helping me without any side effects.

I drink coffee everyday. Too bad it increases my anxiety.

My espressomachine needs service. It doesn’t make good espresso. I think the pump is broken.

I would advice you to take it easy with nootropics. They can increase dopamine which is bad for us.

Yea my last pdoc told me to stay away from supplements that increase dopamine as they worsen psychosis, even if they improve my negatives/cognitives and give me more energy. Its bad energy.

I used to do brain training with an app calld Lumosity. I don’t remember if it helped, I don’t have patience for it anymore.

Yeah, they are boring. I wish there was a way to boost intelligence but it seems that there is no way with current science.

you could try vaping nicotine its proven to be way safer than cigarettes and can improve cognition

Modafinil is supposed to be good for creativity isn’t it? Never tried it.

I use snus, I think it’s also pretty safe. It’s a small tobacco pouch you put under your lip.

I already vape nicotine.

I didn’t try it yet but soon when I get a pdoc.

reading, exercising and eating healthy

I’ve tried Strattera (atomoxetine) and it was okay but stimulants always help more. It could be a good option for people with sz/sza who can’t tolerate stimulants. It’s not a magic pill though, being productive still takes a lot more effort than it does for most people because of our brains being the way they are. As others have said as well lifestyle choices like eating healthy and exercising help any meds work better. Hope that helps
